Discussion Points
o Average family size is not ascertained yet, the initial
estimate is 10.
o Punjab government has provide support to 22,941 HH
through disbursement of Rs.1,047 million,
Decisions/Follow up actions
o Registration record shared with NADRA (90,039), which has
so far verified 52,986 cases and rejected 37,053 for various
reasons including duplication.

members
RDO: Need assessment was carried out in Bannu .
IDEA: Response in two sectors health, RHC Domail 2 male and 2
female doctors provided; With the support form Concern worldwide
water supply was arranged in two UCs 9Pirba Khel, Zarki Khel UCs);
Discussions with the Monitoring mechanism with the team of UNDP
(DDMU Bannu). Coordination support to PDMA is being provided
through IDEA office in Bannu town,; IDEA is carrying out UC profiling
in two UCs of Bannu district;
Change Foundation: Rapid assessment was carried. Food packages
were provided to 100 families;
NHSD: free medical camps, hygiene kits, new born and baby kits in
Bannu
P&D consortium: Rapid assessment in 7 UCs. Psychological counselling
and facilitation support,
UN Habitat: WASH funding (CERF) project to be started soon.
PRDS: Shelter NFI kits (800) planned (Concern) –
CRDO: livelihood (assessment survey in Bannu and Kirk) CFW and
vocation training, WASH activities withy the support of Oxfam GB,
FDMA co-chair asked the

3. CoRe Cluster
Overall Response




Technical support (M&E Specialists) has been provided to
District Disaster Management Unit, District Bannu to
effectively coordinating the distribution of relief items, avoid
duplication and monitoring and reporting of humanitarian
assistance;
Establishment of Call Centre under PDMA at Peshawar which is
working round the clock to register complaints and provide
information to IDPs. With the UNDP support the call centre is
staffed with 3 supervisors and 15 call assistants to register
complaints, which are further communicated to the PDMA for
complaint redressal. On average more than 300 calls are
received by the call centre;
During the last one week, the call centre received 2,257 calls
mostly from Bannu (1,397). The majority of the callers (2,124)
requested information about CM package and Zong sims.
UNDP has received USD 250,000 to re-establish local

governance capacities and strengthen community resilience in
the host communities by fostering social cohesion, expanding
infrastructure and services and strengthening livelihoods.
 Resource mobilization is ongoing to increase the scope of this
project to attend a target population of 200,000 affected
people. Swiss Development Corporation has pledged an
amount up to $1.1 million for the project
 ILO has conducted its initial assessment on cash for work and
skills profiling.
The meeting discussed various areas of support and suggested
following activities:
 CFW through Construction of Link roads,
 Sewing machines for women, IDEA provided unstitched cloth in
three schools along with sewing machines,
 Livestock management, vaccination, feed and fodder,
trainings, provision of animal shelter
 Water supply restoration, too many tube-wells not functional,
 Motorcycles repair course, IDPs have brought their
motorcycles which could be a potential source of earning,
 mobile phone repairing,
 Local embroidery,
 Cash for training,
 USAID is supporting two months certification training under its
Conflict victim support programme and provides stipend and
toolkits,
