Let’s try Web of Science Graphene-metal nanocomposite as electrocatalysts for energy conversion reactions 1. Identify the keywords in your topic Graphene-metal nanocomposite as electrocatalysts for energy conversion reactions 2. Find the synonyms of the keyword Nanocomposite, nanoparticle 3. Look for different variations of the keyword e.g. Electrocataly* electrocatalysis, electrocatalysts, electrocatalyst, electrocatalytic X Electro* Electrolyte Electronics Go to Web of Science 4. Use Boolean operators AND – Use to find records containing all terms separated by the operator OR - Use to find records containing any of the terms separated by the operator 5. Construct the search statement (Graphene* AND metal* AND (nanocomposite* OR nanoparticle*) AND electrocataly*) Go to Web of Science EndNoteX7 Library Features • Remove Duplicates References > Find Duplicates • Delete Unwanted References Select references, then, References > Move References to Trash Note: To delete References permanently, References > Empty Trash • Attach Files (PDF, images, etc) to a reference Select a reference, References > File Attachments > Attach File ... • Import PDF files (with DOI number) to a reference Select a reference, File > Import > File then select your PDF file Import option > select “PDF” > import EndNoteX7 Library Features • Synchronize with EndNote web* Edit > preference > Sync • Mark references as read and unread in EndNote library Select references, then, Right click > Mark unread [or] Mark read • Email references with PDF attachment from EndNote Highlight the reference > click on the email symbol * Sync limits: 50000 records or 5000 groups or 5GB attachment EndNoteX7 in MS Word 2013 Cite While You Write: Searching References in MS Word 2013 a.
