National Honor Society Application Salmon High School Chapter Election to membership in the National Honor Society represents one of the biggest honors that can be bestowed upon a student in his/her junior or senior year. The National Honor Society recognizes students for outstanding scholarship, leadership, service and character. Membership in the society is indicative that the student is demonstrating and promoting all of theses qualities, and is exerting an effort to improve conditions in the school and community. Membership: Selection for membership is by the Faculty Council and is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership and service.
