Table S1 – Data from studies reporting variables from temperature

advertisement
Table S1 – Data from studies reporting variables from temperature response curves of photosynthesis
on plants grown at more than one temperature. Functional type, functional type; Tlow, low/control
daytime growth temperature (C); Thigh, elevated daytime growth temperature (C); Tchange, difference
between Tlow and Thigh (C); Ahigh/Agrowth/Topt/Aopt, adjustment of variable as defined in text, values of
absolute changes in A or Topt; Vcmax/Jmax, adjustment of variable as defined in text, values of absolute
changes in Vcmax or Jmax; Anet, data presented as net CO2 assimilation rates (Anet) or as gross CO2
assimilation rates (Agross); Units, measurements units of A; Study, source of data. Grey cells indicate
adjustment of a given variable in that study. For units: 1= g cm-2 s-1 x 109; 2 = µmol m-2 s-1; 3 = mg dm h-1;
4 = nmol g-1 s-1; 5 = µmol mg chl-1 s-1; 6 = µmol O2 m-2 s-1. For Vcmax and Jmax: variables were measured at a
single temperature (i.e. 25C, indicated by “25”) or at growth temperature (indicated by “growth”).
When Vcmax or Jmax were not reported as these variables measured by gas exchange on a leaf area basis,
alternate details are given: IS, initial slope of CO2 response curve of net CO2 assimilation; in vitro,
variable measured in vitro; modeled, modeled from other data; corrected to 25, variable measured at
other temperature and modeled at 25C.
