His Story
•
•
My dad is my example of an amazing citizen. He shows
citizenship by working for the US government. My dad was born on
the 4th of July, 1973. He was born at Fort Sill in Oklahoma. My
grandpa was in the army and they moved around every 2 years like
we do now. My dad has lived in Panama and other countries. My
grandparents moved to San Antonio in 1990. My dad went to
Judson High School and worked at Fiesta Texas. That is where he
met my mom in 1994. They dated 5 years and then were married
in 1999. I was born in 2001 here in San Antonio.
My dad went to college in San Antonio he got a Bachelors
Degree in IT but worked as the executive chef at The Vineyards
restaurant. On September 11, 2001 the terrorist attacked our
nation by sending planes into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and
one that crashed in Pennsylvania. My father decided on that day to
work for the United States government to stop all terrorist from
entering the United States. He wants to keep me, my brother, and
my mother safe. He wants everyone in the US to feel free and safe.
His Job
•
My father works for the Department of State and is a diplomat that
represents the US in other countries. He is currently working in
Afghanistan which is a country in the middle east. Our government
is helping their government get rid of the terrorist and help them
build their police officers. He is an Officer and works long hours.
He will be there for one year while we wait here for him. My dad
has worked in Iraq, Romania, and Bosnia. He is the best example
of a citizen because he is willing to die to keep the freedom that the
US provides for its citizens.

making the US to be “bad guy free zone.”
Also he will risk his life just so his
