1. Slide 1: What type of CT is this? What can you do to identify it from other types of CT? Where might
you find it?
2. Slide 2: What type of CT is this? What is the main fiber type present in it? Where might one find it in
the body?
3. Slide 3: What type of CT is this? What class and subclass does it belong to? What is one way you can
identify this tissue? Where might this tissue be found?
4. Slide 4: Dense irregular CT. How is this different from dense regular? Where can it be found?
5. Slide 5: Look where the yellow arrows are pointing. This is one of the cells you would find in CT. What
is it? Hint: It produces histamine.
6. Slide 6: This is a cell that can produce heparin, found in CT and the same cell type as in slide. What
gives the cells the grainy appearance?
7. Slide 7: What type of CT is this? What are the large white areas in the cells? What are the cells of this
tissue called?
8. Slide 8: What type of tissue is this? Label the different fibers using the pen feature and call me over for
a signature. (Time Permitting)
9. Slide 9: This is a very hungry cell! What is it called? (sometimes they are called dust cells in lungs.)
10. Slide 10: This is a type of dense CT. What kind is it? How can you tell?
11. Slide 11 What type of tissue is this (class and subclass)? Where can you find it?
12. Slide 12: What type of tissue is this (class and subclass)? There are several short, dark purple lines.
What are these?
13. Slide 13: There are two types of CT in this slide. What are they?
14. Slide 14: Which type of tissue is this (class and subclass)? Describe its ground substance/matrix?
15. Slide 15: What type of TISSUE IS THIS? What is the major cell type and fiber type in this tissue?
16. Slide 16: There are two types of CT on this slide. Name them. Circle an area in each of them. Call me
over!
17. Slide 17: What type of tissue is this? What is the relationship for this type of tissue with epithelium?
18. What type of tissue is this? I am asking about the grayish-bluish tissue on the left half. What is the
structure labeled A? What is the dark pink tissue labeled B called? Hint it surrounds the tissue!
19. This is hyaline cartilage. What is the structure called located between the yellow areas? What type of
cells do you find in these areas? Use proper A & P terminology. Name 3 locations where this cartilage
is found in the body.
20. There are many blue streaks of collagenous fibers in this cartilage. What type of cartilage is it? Name
3 locations where this cartilage is found in the body.
21. This cartilage appears similar to the hyaline cartilage, but its not. There is the presence of several
elastic fibers within the matrix. What type of cartilage is this and where is it located in the body? 2
locations please.
22. What type of tissue is this?
23. What type of tissue is this? How is its matrix different from most CT? What are the red cells, and what
are the purple cells?
