SACS Application for Higher Degree Level
Instructions and Usage Guide for Section Owners
Application Template
The SACS Application Template is available on the SACS Resources website at:
http://www.lscc.edu/faculty/sacs_site/SitePages/Home.aspx. Click on SACS
Documents to access the template. Other resources are also located on this page.
Format (see illustration below)
Spacing: Single (with no space between paragraphs)
Font: Verdana 10 pt.
Margins: 1 inch all sides
References: Use references in parentheses to indicate where a document was referenced.
Example:
 According to the Florida Statutes LSCC can award degrees (Florida Statute 1000.64)
Appendices: If an appendix is needed, give the exact title of the appendix in the text and
include a reference in parentheses. Appendices will be numbered at the end.
Example:
 The Faculty Credentials Manual lists qualified faculty (Appendix xx).
Submission Instructions
Primary section owners need to submit their complete sections to Jane Scott by Monday,
February 6, 2012. All supporting documentation including appendices, tables, charts, and
any other information referenced in the section should be submitted at this time.
