Species of the Day 1/21
• Bald Eagle
– Haliaeetus leucocephalus
If I have a DNA sequence from a Leucistic
eagle that appears to only differ at one base
pair sequence from other traditionally colored
eagles, how could I test to see if this was true
for other traditionally colored eagles &
Leucistic eagles without sequencing their
DNA? Explain how you would do this!
