STIS, BIRTH CONTROL & CONTRACEPTION
With a partner or individually, you are to research one of the topics listed below and present
your findings to the class. You will be given two class periods for this activity. You will have one
library session to conduct your research, compile a fact sheet for your classmates, and create 8
test questions on your topic. The fact sheet will be submitted to your teacher by the end of the
library period so that all the class handouts can be compiled into a booklet for each student for
the following class. Presentations on your topic will take place the second class period.

Does the birth control pill increase your risk of breast cancer?
Abstinence is fine, but don’t you think they should teach about condoms for those who aren’t going to
be pure?
