students and making sure all students are signed out by their parent or authorized person. As an OSC, one of your
children will receive one FREE class. If a coordinator is unable to be present, all classes for that day will be
canceled. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS.
Classes begin the week of March 14th and end on April 28th (unless otherwise noted). **ASP classes will not be
held if Loudoun County Schools are closed due to holidays or inclement weather. In the event of a school closing,

closure beyond our control. Classes all meet from 2:40 PM - 3:40 PM (unless otherwise noted). An 8-student
minimum is required to have a class (unless otherwise noted). Once the class starts, there will be NO

WeDo is a fantastic, simple-touse tool that enables students

Creations
Famous Artists of Claude
Monet, Jackson Pollock and
others. The children will
recreate famous pieces of Art
by creating crafts relating to
these class topics.
Join Mrs. Arthur's Reader's
Theater Club, where students
will read a story aloud, like a
play, without memorization,
props or stage. Gives students
an outlet for creative
expression and a safe platform
for building reading confidence.
As part of our book club, we
will read a different book each
week at home. Some of the
books we will read include Class
Dismissed by Allan Woodrow
and Mountain Dog by Magarita
Engel. We will also read books
by National Geographic writer
Jill Esbaum. During our weekly
sessions, we will have the
opportunity to Skype with these
authors and ask them questions
about their books. All book club
members must be willing to
read a chapter book each week
at home in order to be
prepared for the book
discussions.
Students will learn about
Physicists, Abigail Atom,
electrical power, atom
behavior, color spectrum, the
solar system and also
magnetism. Students will learn
this information through
activities, images and simple
elementary experiments.
Students will learn about lift,
thrust, gravity, drag,
Bernoulli’s principle and more.
Come learn to be the best Little
Scientist!
In the coding class the students
get introduced to basic
programming as they create
interactive stories, design
animations, and make minigames using online game-like
interface. During each
lesson students are guided and
then learn by themselves as
they progress, solve coding
puzzles, building their own
project, designing and writing
code for games
