ITBS Practice Test Answers for Levels 9-11 of the Iowa Assessments Form E
Date of Tests: October 9-12, 2012 8:15-11:00 AM
Overview of the Practice Tests
The Practice Tests for the Iowa Assessments have been designed to help students become
familiar with the types of tasks they will encounter when they take Level 9-11 of the Iowa
Assessments Form E. The Practice Tests contain questions that are similar in format and content
to the questions in the regular tests, a sample Name block, and a detachable answer sheet. In
addition, the correct answers are discussed to clarify the test-taking process and to prepare
students for the regular Iowa Assessments.
After each practice test, we identify the correct responses and discuss why these responses are
correct. Students are instructed to use a red pen to identify the correct answer in order to
review areas of weakness before the ITBS Test and gain a firm understanding in the concept.
