Course Outline: The course aims to provide the fundamental knowledge about how individuals
and groups behave in organizations and also insights on how this knowledge may be applied to
improve performance and organizational effectiveness. Individual behaviors, communication
among individuals , communication in group and between groups that takes place in
organizations, conceptual tools for analyzing behaviors, role of management to improve
individual, group and organizational performance are among the subjects of this course.

Testing & Grading: There will be two exams (midterm & final). A report presenting the results
of employee interviews will be delivered. Addition to this each student is required to bring the
homework’s to the class on time and attain to the class discussions. “Employee Interview
Presentations” in order to gain an idea of how to use OB knowledge in a real business life,
group of 3 students shall make an interview with an employee and prepare a report. Interview
questions will be given to students by the instructor. Reports will be presented and discussed in
the class.
