This is an opportunity for you to share with the class something about your culture. Your speech will
include the information you have learned during the culture unit and your own personal experiences.
Your assignment will to select FOUR of the following cultural characteristics listed below and
explain how they have influenced your life and helped establish your cultural identity.
The oral presentation should be 3 to 5 minutes long and include a “visual artifact” related to your
speech. You should use the abbreviated note cards (attached) to assist in your presentations. You
will be grade on content and speech techniques.
