10 Minutes Pre- Planning
• Before your begin your discussion, choose 4 questions per person from
the Question Bank
• Look through your notes and find the answers to the questions
• Use sticky notes to mark your notes so you can use them as reference in
your DoK
• Write the main details answering the question on the sticky notes
25 Minutes Discussion
• Use the Essential Questions (on board) to begin discussion regarding WWII
• Show your knowledge within the discussion of as many detailed facts
about the CCR’s of the war
• Work your way through the questions and answers in the Question Bank
10 Minutes Planning for Illustration
• Take notes as you DISCOVER new information in your discussion group
• Organize your thoughts and make a plan for the visual DoK your will
display tomorrow.

3. What was the Holocaust and how did Hitler’s Mein Kampf influence this plan?
4. What were the motives of each of the totalitarian country before and during WWII?
5. Who were the key players in WWII? How did their leadership influence the war?
6. How did the Tripartite Pact and the Axis Treaty influence foreign policy in other countries?
7. Describe the advanced technology, battle strategies, and theaters of WWII.
8. Using a timeline, identify a pattern or trend during the war or during the holocaust.
9. Explain Hitler’s rise to power including the ideas in Mein Kampf.
10. Discuss the youth movements under Hitler’s regime. Use your experience with Horst
Christian and the movie Swing Kids to enhance your account.
11. Explain Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s 4 Freedom’s Speech. Was it possible to carry this out?
12. Explain one of the battles of WWII in detail.
13. Describe the summit conferences attended by the Big Three. Explain their agenda at each
meeting.
