RULES & REGULATION
SATURDAYS, SUNDAY & GOVERNMENT HOLIDAY ONLY
1. The above tournament is open to all corporate, clubs and banks, 25
over’s a side.
2. No players will be allowed to play more than one team that team is
disqualify by tournament.
3. An entry fee of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand only) should be
paid by each competing team and must accompany an entry form
prescribed by the SSCA DULY signed by the Authorized signatory together
with their Photos. Payment can be made either by cash or DD in favor of
SEVEN STAR CRICKET ASSOCIATION, Tournament started on 24th Sept
2015, Entry closes on 2nd Oct 2015 (Two match series).
4 .The fees must be paid along with the list of 20 players with their
signature duly signed by the firms authorized persons. Change in the list of
players (maximum of 2 players per match) is permitted. This must be
informed to our SSCA in writing 48 hours before the commencement of
play with specimen signature of the player attested by the authorized
persons of the corporate / firms.
5. Umpires, Scorer, Balls, & 1 water can (per team) provided by the
tournament committee. The tournament committee will not be responsible
for players’ injury. The tournament will be played on 25 over’s basis
including finals.
(In the list of 20 players 1 first division & 3 second division
players are allowed & However In the playing eleven 1 first
division player allowed & 2nd division 2 players allowed.
7. Wear white & white uniform strictly followed by match timings. No
cancellation and Postpone will be entertained after the fixtures card is sent.
Smoking and drinking of alcohol is strictly prohibited in the ground
premises. If the rule is violated by any player or team, such player or team
will be debarred from the match and no refund will be given under any
circumstances and violation is punishable by the ground authorities which
may pleased be noted.
8. Total 12 teams participated divided by four groups each group
3 teams participated in each group two matches each team top
one team qualify for semi finals followed grand finals get winner
cash prize Rs. 40,000/- with trophy, Runner cash prize Rs. 15,000
with trophy & Man of the series get Rs. 3,000/- with trophy only.
9. Man of the Match award will be given for every match.
10. The Tournament winner get cash prize Rs. 40,000/- with trophy.
The Tournament runner get cash prize Rs. 15,000/- with get trophy.
11. LEAGUE STAGE:
SUB CLAUSE 1: the side scoring greater number of runs will be
declared as winner 2 points for a win, 1 points for a tie and 1 point for
draw. If team gives walkover it will be losing 4 points.
SUB CLAUSE 2 : In case of rain / unavoidable reason the play was
called off by the umpires in the league stage each 1 – point will be given
even a single ball is bowled and In case of rain 2nd half 1/3rd over
completed 9 overs decided by run rate.
12. KNOCK OUT STAGE: TIE
SUB CLAUSE – 1
a. If the scores are equal, the team which has scored the total runs in
lesser number of balls shall be winner.

In case of scores are equal super over decided by umpires by
winner.
SUB CLAUSE – 2: In case of rain / unavoidable reason the play was
called off by the umpires in the league stage, equal points will be given
a single ball is bowled. In knockout stage, if second batting side has
completed 1/3 of the allotted over’s then the match will be decided by
over all run rate. If second batting sides have not completed 1/3 of the
allotted over’s then the match will be decided by super over in the
presence of umpires. Wickets average will not be considered. Any
fraction of over’s will be ignored.
13. All the matches in this tournament shall be under the latest BCCI laws
of cricket and subject to all the experimental law of cricket and applied by
the ICC laws are implemented by the tournament committee rules.
14. Each bowler will be allowed to bowl only 5 over’s.
15. In a delayed match where the over’s are reduced (over’s shall be
calculated at the rate of 4 minutes per over total and subject to special
playing condition prescribed by their time available).
16. Where the total number of over’s is not divisible by 6 one additional
over shall be allowed to maximum number of bowlers necessary to make
up the balance.
17. The matches will commence by 6.30 am, 7.30 am and 12.30 & 1.00 pm
respectively. The teams should report at the venue at least 30 minutes
before the schedule start of play. In a match there will be 2 sessions of 2.00
hours 10 minutes interval between the innings.
18. If the team fielding first fails to bowl the required number of overs by
the scheduled time of the first session, the innings of the team batting
second shall be limited to the same number of overs bowled by it at the
scheduled time of the first session. If fielding team does not bowl
stipulated overs in the scheduled time, at the end of the scheduled time the
overs they have bowled only can be given them for batting second. But
they will have to complete the 25 overs. E.g. If the team bowling first
completed only 23 overs in the scheduled time allotted, they can only bat
23 overs, but they will have to continue their bowling until 30 overs bowled.
Their target will be the score which the first batting side scored in 25 overs
and they will have to achieve the target only in 23 overs.
19. Before the toss, both the Captain should produce the list of players with
signatures to the umpires 15 minutes before the schedule / reschedule
start of play and no alteration is entertained after the toss.
20. The SSCA will have the right to alter, amend or cancel the rules and
regulation of the tournament committee from time to time. The decision of
the tournament committee of SSCA in all matters will be final and it cannot
be questioned before the tribunal or any court of law.
21. Rematch will not be allowed if any team does not agree to umpires
findings and walkout during middle of the match, umpires decision is final.
22. Restriction of the placement of fieldsman.
a. When the ball comes into play / bowler starts his run up there
shall not be more than 5 fielders on the onside.
b. One bouncer will be allowed per over, for over stepping No
ball, next ball will be free hit. High full toss above hip height
will be called No ball.
c. First seven overs power play two fielders outside of the circle
and after nine overs four players inside the circle except
bowler and keeper.
23. Executive committee members of the seven star cricket association are
the tournament committee members, the decision of tournament committee
shall be final in all the matters and will not be called for any question either
before any tribunal or the court of Law.
24. If any complaint or Misbehavior against any team or player participating
in this tournament, the committee has full powers to enquire into the matter
and such teams including the player will be penalized being scratched from
the tournament. Umpires have been given full powers to act accordingly.
25. Man of the match is given every match.

27, League stage – matting grounds given and semi & finals
turf ground given.
28, First Seven over’s power play compulsory only two
fielders are allowed outside the 30 yard circle. After nine
over’s minimum of 6 fielders plus the keeper and bowler
should remain inside of the 30 yard circle, Otherwise no ball
will be called by either umpire and one run and for and only
for over stepping by the bowler one runs will provided to
opponent team & next ball will be free hit.
28, (a) Instruction about teams: - a) In case any damages in
inside & outside of ground teams will be responsible &
Association & Grounds men will not be hold any responsible.
b) Executive committee members of the seven star cricket
association are the tournament committee members, the decision of
tournament committee shall be final in all the matters and will not
be called for any question either before any tribunal or the court of
Law.
c) Matches played for Saturdays, Sundays & Government Holidays.
League Stage only matting grounds given: - St Bed’s ‘A’ or ‘B’,
Pachaiyappa’s ‘B’ , Cpt Ipl Matt, Stanley Medical College Matt, Sindhi
College matt, Loyola ‘A’ or ‘B’.
Semi & Finals only turf ground: - Viveka or Cpt Ipl or Ti Murugappa or
Spic Ymca or SRMC Turf or Scope turf kovalam.
