SPANISH HOMEWORK YEAR 7
Homework Details
1
Learn ‘routine language’ vocabulary from CU1 vocabulary sheet. You should be able to
ask and answer questions on how you are and what your name is. Your teacher will inform you
of the words you will be tested on.

Learn ‘routine language’ vocabulary. Learn key questions on page one.

Learn ‘routine language’ vocabulary. Focus on the adjectives and asking questions in Spanish.

Learn ‘routine language’ vocabulary. Focus on highlighted questions on pages two to four. You
will be tested on pencil case items.

Learn ‘routine language’ vocabulary pages five to seven. Focus of pronunciation, this will be
reinforced in class.

Learn ‘describing myself’ vocabulary section A of C2 vocabulary sheet.

Learn ‘introducing my family’ vocabulary section B. You should be able to write/say a short
sentence describing your family members. You should also be familiar with large numbers.

Learn ‘describing my family members physical appearance’ and ‘opinions and comparisons’
vocabulary section C.

Learn ‘describing my pets’ vocabulary section E. You should know how to use the first three
forms of the verb ‘ tener’ (to have)- Tengo/ tienes/tiene. You should also be familiar with a
range of adjectives.

Learn vocabulary from sections F and G. Pay particular attention to the verbs in the conditional
and past tense. Can you write a small paragraph on pets you used to have or would like to
have?

Learn ‘sports and free time activities’ CU3 vocabulary section A. You should focus on
being able to use an opinion + a verb in the infinitive.

Learn vocabulary from sections B and C. You should familiarise yourself with any new
adjectives to describe sports, can you use your dictionary to find more relevant vocabulary? Pay
close attention to the spelling and pronunciation of the different forms of the verbs.

Learn ‘weather and activities’ vocabulary section D. You should be able to recognise the
difference between the weather phrases in the present and past tense.

Learn ‘ telling the time’ vocabulary section E.

Learn ‘future activities’ vocabulary section A of the CU3 vocabulary sheet. You should be able to
talk about what you are going to do in the first person singular and plural.

Learn ‘where would you like to go on holiday’ vocabulary section B. You should be able to use
the structures to make up your own sentences.

Learn ‘how are you going to travel’ vocabulary section C. You should be able to answer the
question justifying your answer.

Learn ‘meeting friends’ vocabulary section D. You should pay particular attention to
pronunciation as you will be asked to prepare a role-play.

Practise your role-play.
