“A Portion” Educational Ministry Biblical Resource Training How to Use Biblical Study Resources INTRODUCTION The foundation Spiritual principle of the life of a Christian is to obtain life and escape death. 2 Peter 1:3-4 states, “According to his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers if the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lusts.” The key word that separates life from death 2 Peter 1:3-4 is knowledge. Knowledge is obtained by seeking the truth through various means and resources to come to the fullness of understanding thus developing knowledge. These series of lessons will focus on utilizing foundational biblical resources to come to a level of understanding thus developing knowledge. As we strive together in these series of lessons, please keep in the for front of your mind 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Studying is essential in understanding and increasing in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
