(10 marks) P E E L Space research could eventually lead to humans finding other planets that could be inhabited. For example, space probes may discover a planet with a water source and liveable atmosphere. This is why NASA’s spending on research has rapidly increased over a 5 year period. If this were to happen it could help solve future problems of overpopulation and limited resources on earth. Therefore, in the long run, this research would be money well spent. 1 (c) Discuss the view that money spent on space research is money well spent. (10 marks) Several answers to this question will be rotated around the class. You will have 2 minutes to add to the next part of the answer before rotating again. Points have been given – you must add example, explanation and link. At the end of the task we should be able to combine our answers to gain a full 10 marks!
