13-25 A Resolution to Place the Speaker of the House onto
the Executive Board (E-Board)

WHEREAS, The Executive Board (E-Board) currently consist of the President, Vice

President, Chief of Staff, Director of Internal Affairs, and the Chief
3
Justice; and
4
WHEREAS, The Student Government of Wright State University has four sections of
5
the governing body which includes the Cabinet, Senate, House of
6
Representatives, and the Judicial Branch; and
7
WHEREAS, Every section of the governing body of the Student Government of Wright
8
State University is represented on the Executive Board besides the
9
Speaker of the House who leads the House of Representatives; now,
10
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, By the Student Government of Wright State University here
13
assembled, that:

(1) The Speaker of the House is to be placed on the Executive Board
15
taking place at the end of the 2014 Spring Semester; and
16
(2) Article III Section 1 of the Student Government Constitution be
17
amended to reflect this change by inserting the following wording
18
“The Executive Board (E-Board) of the Cabinet shall consist of the
19
following six (6) positions: President, Vice President, Chief of Staff,
20
Speaker of the House, Director of Internal Affairs, and the Chief
21
Justice” instead of the current wording “The Executive Board (E-
22
Board) of the Cabinet shall consist of the following five (5) positions:
23
President, Vice President, Chief of Staff, Director of Internal Affairs,
24
and the Chief Justice”
