2013 Marketing Strategy
• The focus for TY13 is growing member use and credit
union participation
– Client managers working with high value CUs to develop
marketing strategies and earlier communication to
members
– Need League assistance to connect to all enrolled credit
unions to encourage and support more marketing and
communication of the program to members
– TY13 the incentive to Leagues is being enhanced to 20% of
sales from all enrolled credit unions in your state
• Previously Leagues earned 20% of sales from only new CUs
enrolled in the program

New Credit Union Enrollment
• We are targeting to add 200 new credit unions to the
TurboTax program this year
• The NBC’s will provide to you a list of targeted credit
unions in your state
– High value credit unions that are not participating

2012 – 2013 Contract Year
The 2012 – 2013 Sprint Marketing Incentive checks will be distributed by
mid December 2013. Payout amounts should be determined in early
November.
2013 – 2014 Contract Year
Of the 1,846 2012 – 2013 participating credit unions,
73% (1,346) have renewed for the 2013 - 2014 Contract Year. We are
welcoming 53 newly participating credit unions.
Contract Year = October 1 of each year through September 30 of the following year.

Current Verification Numbers
From January program numbers, overall verification is up to 57% (as of August 2013) from
the previously Q2 reporting of 36%. 37% of new customers validated in August 2013,
while those revalidating (already on the program) are validating at 11% in August 2013.
Of all customers that attempt to validate under the program, 96% are successful.

Verification is easy and only takes a few minutes to complete. There are three ways to verify credit
union membership:
1.
NEW
Visit www.Sprint.com/verify from a mobile device
Members need to black out all confidential information on
their documentation prior to taking a snapshot.
2. Free Invest in America app for Android and/or iPhone
• iPhone users can find it at the Apple App Store.
• Android users can find the app in the Android Market.
• Members just need to search for “Invest in America.”
• Members will be prompted to black out all confidential information within the app right on
their phone.
• This app also lists all other Invest in America discounts.
3. Fill out and fax the Sprint verification form and supporting
documents to the Sprint Corporate Accounts:

Sprint has begun offering new service plans that
include unlimited talk, text and data for life while on
the Sprint network - the Unlimited My Way plans.
The incremental credit union member discount (10%
for individual/15% for business) is applied to the data
charge portion of the Unlimited My Way plans. In
addition, accounts can now have up to 10 lines on the
Unlimited My Way plan. These plans also come with
the Sprint Unlimited Guarantee. As always, new
account activation fees (up to $36) and upgrade fees
(up to $36) are waived for credit union members.
With earlier plans, the credit union member 10%/15%
discount applied to select regularly priced service plans
and was limited to 5 lines per account.
Applying discounts towards the data charge only, is
consistent with competitors’ current discount structure
and eases comparisons across carriers.
* The My All In Plan is not discountable.
