materials, including budget, recordkeeping, and membership information. Organize and lead
scheduled events, such as pedagogy symposiums, student recitals, and special guests. Recruit
members, maintain communication with membership, and collaborate with state organization
members to promote community involvement.
Vice President and Co-Founder, 2012-2013
Collaborate with President to form the UA MTNA Collegiate Chapter by establishing
organization bank account with university credit union, recruiting members to meet university
minimum membership requirements, collaborate with School of Music Chair to acquire
financial assistance for startup budget, as well as communicate with members about upcoming
events. Procured funds, arranged travel and lodging, student participation, and public relations
for the residency of a touring pianist that included master classes, a lecture, Q&A session, and
recital.

Led collaboration between Stillman College and the University of Alabama to celebrate fine arts
achievements in African-American history through demonstrations, lectures, and concerts in areas of
literature, dance, and music. Participants and presenters included Tuscaloosa City Schools, The
Alabama Blues Project, and area students and faculty.
Educational Video Series, Nashville Primary School, Nashville, Arkansas, September 2014
Developed, recorded, and produced a short video series on the life of a musician for the third grade
music class at Nashville Primary School. Product of project was a recording and score of a newly
commissioned piano work dedicated to the students.

Organized an interactive music event featuring live performances of piano students from the
University of Alabama.
