Yes!!!
IF –
 You have strong Maths, English and
Science skills.
 You are not afraid of hard work and
writing essays.
 You are a questioning person and you are
really interested in why people behave as
they do.
 You enjoy contributing to class
discussions
Should I do
Psychology
AS/A level?
No!!!
IF –
 You think psychology sounds easy and a laugh.
 You have struggled in Maths, English and
Science.
 The way humans behave is of little interest to
you.
 You have no intention of working independently
and conscientiously.
What will I
study ?
The AS level syllabus, (year 12), is made up of
two Modules
 Each module is assessed by a 1.5 hour exam
with a choice of questions.

The A2 syllabus (year 13) is also made up of 2
modules.
 Units 3 and 4 are assessed by a 1.5 hour and 2
hour exam respectively, with a choice of
questions.
 There is no coursework!


 Employers are usually looking for general or
transferable skills, and a Psychology qualification
provides a unique combination of these.


Other visits have included

We have attended 3 different sessions relating to the AS
and A2 course.
We did a learning experiment with African Land snails
and stick insects in 2008!
And observed the behaviour of an animal of our choice in 2009
