Beta Alpha Psi - Gamma Delta Chapter Scholarship Application
Fall 2015
In Beta Alpha Psi, associates, candidates and members come first. In order to recognize your
hard work, we have the privilege of awarding scholarships from the funds we have raised this
semester.
In order to be eligible for a scholarship, you must have obtained the minimum amount of points
listed below for your membership status during the current semester:
Associate/ Orientation (10pts)
Candidate: Ignite! Career Mixer (20pts)
BAP Professional Meetings (170pts)
Community Service Activities (60pts: 3 BAP or 2 BAP + 1 individual)
Fundraising (40pts: Attended both bake sales or Houston Texans Game)
Raffle Tickets (20pts)
Social Activities (30pts)
Membership Development Activities (30pts)
Election Night (20pts)
Returning Ignite! Career Mixer (20pts)
Member: BAP Professional Meetings (80pts)
Community Service Activities (20pts)
Fundraising (20pts)
Social Activities (30pts)
Election Night (20pts)
The scholarships will be awarded based on the quality, content and grammar of the essay
responses to the questions below. The answer to each question is limited to one page double
spaced typed with one inch margins all-around and Times New Roman font size 12; we request
that you submit your essay responses using the spaces provided on pages 3 and 4 below. Please
return all four pages of this document as your submission. Your application and essays will be
reviewed by an unbiased scholarship committee. The committee will also take into consideration
the total amount of points you have received from attending BAP activities this semester.
Once you complete the application, please email the document as attachment to
president@uhbap.org. The deadline is set for Sunday, December 13th, 2015 at 11:59pm. All
applications received after the deadline will not be considered. The winners will be announced at
banquet on Thursday, December 17th, 2015.
