ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN Through our grant making principles Comic Relief expects all organisations applying for funding to demonstrate how they will build effective organisations and social movements. You are expected to complete and upload an organisational development plan in respect of each local partner, demonstrating how you plan to strengthen their capacity over the life of the project. There are a number of organisational capacity assessment tools (OCAT) available to help you benchmark capacity across a number of different areas and identify priorities for improvement. Whilst we don’t insist that you use one particular tool, BOND, NIDOS and McKinsey have developed sector-specific ones which you may find useful. You should use this template to outline the organisational development plan for your partner organisations, and for your own organisation if small and / or diaspora-led (for Comic Relief definitions see guidance notes). If you’re applying for funds to develop the capacity of more than one partner, you’ll need to complete a form for each of them. Where applicable please restrict your answer to the word limit stated.
