Initiated Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement program for EMS division which resulted in
improved patient care and reduced liability on the department and Glynn County.
Co-spearheaded new quartermaster system involving fire safety equipment, emergency medical
supplies, and uniforms. This has reduced cost and waste.
Established electronic monthly training program for all personnel involving fire and EMS
recertification requirements.
Launched well-received field training program to ensure success of new employees.
Created the department’s EMS protocols and ensures protocols are current with national
standards.
Introduced department’s Rules and Regulations, Orders, and Standard Operating Procedures into
a book in each station for immediate up-to-date reference and guidance. Have written or revised

many of the standard operating procedures and guidelines for the department.
Assisted with the development and implementation of the department’s Action Plan pertaining to
the G-8 Summit.
Taught the department’s only in-house Paramedic Program and had a 100% pass rate for
Georgia’s licensing process.
Worked on the requirements placed upon the department’s ISO inspection. Results of the
inspection was the department lowered the ISO rating from a class 5/9 to a class 4/9 which saves
the taxpayers of Glynn County money.
Assisted the department with obtaining an efficient and beneficial regional EMS zoning plan for
Glynn County.
Helped establish and train the communication officers in Emergency Medical Dispatch which is a
major operational responsibility of the E-911 Center today. This resulted in a tremendous cost
savings and less time the employee had to be on training leave.
Assisted with writing the specifications for department apparatus and equipment.

therapy. Responsible for Vital signs, Phlebotomy, Billing, Coding, Discharge planning, referrals,
education, and assisting providers and office staff as required.
