Watch-outs • Global economic and geopolitical conditions will continue to challenge the US economy. Many seeing the number of new product projects increasing (planning to do more with same resources) this maintaining budgets while delivering more will be necessary. • A few consumer products and and specialty chemical organizations have started and will continue cutting back their portfolio and focusing on less more strategic projects.Significant restructuring is taking place in these industries as well with a strong emphasis on short term shareholder value. • In the high tech and industrial products sectors, the allocation of talent has been increased especially in the regions.
