I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Abby Seymour, my
daughter, Jayley, is on the Arcadia Aces Pee Wee squad. Though I have met many of you at practices
and at competitions, there are still some that I have not had the pleasure of meeting…hopefully we will
meet soon!
I am a Travel Agent, with The Travel Centre, in Chippewa. Tracy asked me if I was able to get together a
list of discounted/group hotel rates for nationals in Akron, OH. Fortunately, I was able to do just that!
This is what I came up with (the prices that I have listed have been calculated to include all hotel
taxes and fees):

The Ramada Plaza Akron is a little on the older side, but it is 2 BLOCKS from the John S. Knight Center.
The Holiday Inn Express is the nicest. It is GORGEOUS! It was ranked the #1 hotel in Akron by Trip
Advisor.
The Quality Inn is just OK, but on the nicer side of OK….for the price it cannot be beat!
Attached is the form that I will need filled out in order to reserve your room. Rooms will be reserved on a
first come first serve basis, as the number of rooms available in Akron that day (3/24/12) are becoming
limited. Payment MUST accompany the completed form, otherwise I will not be able to hold your room.
ALL payments must be returned to either myself, or The Travel Centre, no later than 2/27/12.
