Nails in Wrists
A nail through the palm will tear
through the flesh because there
is no structure to support the
weight of the body.
The wrist consists of many little
bones. The Romans knew that
there is a space particularly in
the middle of a group of four
bones.
The space, they also knew, could
accommodate narrow objects. It
is in this space that they drove
the nails during crucifixion.

Philippians 2:6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it
robbery to be equal with God,
7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a
bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself
and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the
cross.
9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the
name which is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in
heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Colossians 2:13 ¶ And you, being dead in your trespasses and the
uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with
Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was
against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of
the way, having nailed it to the cross.
Heb 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our
faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the
cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right
hand of the throne of God.
