Notebook (exclusively for this class) 3. Pencil or Pen 4. A calculator is highly RECOMMENDED • Forgetting one of these materials will result in a consequence. I. Entering the Classroom • You will great Mr. Lance at the door and shake his hand. • You grab all the necessary materials before going to your desk. • Silently start the Catalyst. II. Turning in Work • When work is due (projects, assignments, etc.) , then turn it into the bin that matches the first letter of your last name. Attention Getting Signal III. Tardy • You are tardy if you get the classroom after door is shut. • Being tardy results in loss of nutrition and/or lunch IV. Late Work • Late work will not be accepted. • I repeat, late work will not be accepted V. Absent Policy • All absences have 2 days for every day they missed to make up work. • Work can be found in absent binder • Failure to complete work during the allowed time will result in loss of points for that assignment. VI. Bathroom Policy • If you use the bathroom, then you owe me that amount of minute after class (e.g. 5 min in bathroom = 5 min after class) • Please ask before you leave. Dismissal from the class Class Essay • If your behavior is not corrected, then you will be asked to complete a class essay. • This will need to be completed before you can rejoin the class Self-Diagnostic Referral • If inappropriate behavior continues, then you will complete a self-diagnostic referral. • This will be kept on file and must be completed prior to returning to the class. • If another referral is needed, then both will be mailed home 3 Strikes and Your Out! • If the behavior continues after the 2nd referral, then you will be dismissed from the classroom.
