„By the end of 2007, traditional enterprise
telephony system manufacturers will have ceased
development (although not necessarily
production) and announced their intention to
discontinue support for their TDM-based PBX and
contact center systems within five years (0.8
probability)“

Securing VoIP
Where Does Encryption Work – or Not Work?
Encrypting Voice in a Mixed Environment
Useful to Secure:
 On Corporate IP Network Where One IP Endpoint
Is Talking with Another IP Endpoint
 Across an Internet Connection Even without
a VPN Connection
Doesn’t Provide Security:
 PSTN Connections Are Subject to Same Risks as Before
 Connection to Legacy Devices – Digital or Analog
 Applications That Do Not Support Encryption
 3rd Party Applications, Messaging, Conferencing, etc.
