 Founded in 1989 with the objective of extending
educational coverage without geographical
limitations.
 At the beginning, the Virtual University focused on
satellite technology for course delivery and the
Internet for student interaction.
 In 1999, the Virtual University evolves and
increases the number of on-line courses
