2. Research Question:
How the Olympic Games served as a foil to how women are treated in modern society?
3. Purpose (Goals):
Women are fully capable of keeping up in what was thought to be known as a man’s
world. The researching will be about how women and women in different cultures being held
back on reaching their full potential. I love the Olympics, and this is interesting way to see how
women fought for their equality. This is significant because it is showing how strong women
can truly be. I hope I and my readers will understand how women were underappreciated so
long.
4. History:
Since I can remember I have watched every Olympics, and even including the old re-runs
and the biographies on famous Olympians. I am very passionate about the Olympics. I am so
passionate that I have dreams to going to the Olympics in Equestrian.

Herbison2
In my research I will be using search engines, books, articles, the internet, and if I can, I
would like to interview people. I have not found any un-scholarly articles yet, but if I do I will
use them as needed.
I will be looking for how women have fought for equality through the Olympic Games
and the world.
6. Expected Results:
I expect the result to show how women in today’s world will prove to men that women
can survive in being an Olympian or all the way to being the President of the United States of
