(CUIDC)
1. Welcome to another exciting year of drill and military excellence competitions. On
14 November 2015, the finest drill and Military Excellence Competition (MEC) teams from
the Northeast and beyond will assemble at Cornell University to compete for individual event
and overall drill and military fitness titles. This year's CUIDC promises to carry on the
tradition of close competition that we have come to expect from our attending teams. This
year, we will be hosting the following competitions:
(1) Drill: Platoon Basic Drill
(2) Drill: Squad Basic Drill
(3) Drill: Platoon Trick/ Squad Trick Drill
(4) Drill: Two Man Trick Drill
(5) Drill: Color Guard Drill
(6) Drill: Individual Drill (IDR)
(1) MEC: 4 x 400 Relay
(2) MEC: 10 Kilometer Race
(3) MEC: Ironman
(4) MEC: [Swim] 4 x 100 Freestyle
(5) MEC: [Swim] 4 x 100 IM Relay
(6) MEC: [Swim] Individual 50y Free
2. More information as well as standard operating procedures for these drill and MEC events
and scoring guidelines will be sent to your school upon receiving the entry form. These
SOP’s will also be posted to the Cornell Naval ROTC CUIDC website.
