The purpose of this project is to create a standalone
research utility that can be easily accessed by Managed
Account portal and NETX360.net platforms
This tool allows users to search for investment vehicles
using a variety of filter criteria. The investment vehicles
are limited to mutual funds, SMA Managers,
models/programs/products, exchange traded notes
(ETNs) and exchange traded funds (ETFs). Equity, Fixed
Income, Commodities and other such investment
vehicles are NOT a part of this research functionality.

Retail Inventory Management (RIM) works on the concepts of
VMI. Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) is a business model
wherein the vendor assumes complete responsibility of
managing the inventory level of its customer, i.e. the vendor will
ensure the amount of stock levels that needs to be maintained
at the retailer store and the corresponding orders that need to
be placed at the distributor end.
RIM System allows for the tracking, replenishing and
maintenance of stock figures and uses sales and merchandiser
data to keep an accurate track of stock-level down to individual
units of a particular product at particular store.
VMI is the ability to predict what your customers need before
they need it. This helps retailer make smarter decisions that will
help increase their inventory turns, as well as supplier’s sales.

Utopia is a customized system used to support the sales,
distribution, and accounting functions of the Twentieth
Television. Utopia replaces the current system which is a 25
year old legacy system called Harpoon built on PICK database
structure .The new system is developed on J2EE Platform
enabling TTV to meet current business objectives and provide
flexibility to manage future changes in business practices.
Utopia is a custom Business Process Management (BPM)
solution, reusing the existing architecture. The application has
following modules - Product Setup, Market Setup, Customer
Setup, Sales Administration, Contract Administration, Station
Servicing, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Credit
and Collections.
The system has to interact with 5 interfaces both inbound and
outbound as well as data conversion for the entire system has
been developed.

Description
IQUANTIS and Quantis are the two products used in our
Company. Quantis is a dealing system mainly for Mutual Fund
companies and IQuantis is a Dealing system mainly for
Insurance companies. It has various modules for Debt
Instrument, Equity, MF, REPO, CBLO and Fixed Deposit.
This system has separate modules for both Front Office and
Back Office. Front Office module is mainly concerned with the
dealing of various transactions, where as Back Office modules
concerned with Settlement and daily Cash In and Out Flow
details.
Various complex reports are generated by this system such as
Portfolio Statement, Cash Flow Log report, etc.
Based on the requirement of the client we will develop their
requirement in the Customization Area.
Responsibility
I have developed the following modules:
1.
Mutual Fund Dealing Module (For BSLI)
This module is used to enter the daily transactions of
Mutual Fund Units against various schemes (funds). It has
three types of transaction– Buy, Sell and Transfer. In this the
user (Dealer) has to select the Level of transaction (i.e.) Under
Portfolio level or Insurance level. Once the user selects the
particular Instrument for Transaction, system fetched the latest
market price for that Instrument as on date. After checking
various Limit Checking, the system allows the user to save the
deal. Once this dealing is acknowledger by the Dealer, it comes
for Settlement Screen.
2.
Holding Quantity Upload Module (For PRUICICI)
It is used to upload the total no. of holding quantities for all
the instruments available in the market. It uses the Excel file
given by NSE, BSE exchanges as source and uploads into the
corresponding IQUANTIS tables. This module called everyday
before any transaction to be made.
3.
Deal Ticket, Confirmation Letter and Custody Letter (For
BSLI and HDFC)
Generating Deal Ticket reports and Custody Letters for the
all Mutual Fund Transaction by using VS View Report ActiveX
control.
4. Portfolio Report (For Optimix)
It will show all the transactions which is done in the
system. The difference between total Buy and total sell is
Portfolio. There are four options are there.

Portfolio Master Level
c.
Fund Level

Mutual Fund Level
The pool level will display all the transactions according to the
Pool Level. Portfolio Master will display all the transactions
according to the PM Level. The Fund will display all the
transactions according to the Fund Level.
The Mutual Fund will all the transactions which are done in the
System. Every Pool will be allocated to some funds.
Every Fund will be assigned to Some Portfolio Masters.
5. Sunsystem Download Module - (For BSLI)
All the Accounting Entries of the entire module like
Debt, CBLO, Repo, Mutual Fund, Etc, are downloaded into
Text file which will be uploaded into Quantis.
6. OneTis Download Module - (For Templeton MF)
All the Deals of Debt, Repo and Fixed Deposit are
Downloaded from Quantis and it will be saved in text file which
will be uploaded by other client.
6. Around thirty five Procedures are written by me in Oracle for
displaying the Portfolio Report, Sunsystem Download and
OneTis Download
7. Various Triggers, Cursors, Functions and Views are created
by me and used in Our Projects.

Description
The project involves installing software over multiple clients
in a network simultaneously. It focuses in providing a userfriendly environment with efficient results by reducing execution
time. Once the server names are given in the client, the
connection is established. At the server end, the clients name

gets displayed in a list box as and when they get connected to
the server. The user can view the drives available of a particular
client and its type. The user selects the clients and their
respective drive in which the software is to be installed. Once
the selection is done, the user specifies the source path of
software to be installed, which marks the beginning of the
installation process. At the client end and at the termination of
this process, the registry is updated for all the selected clients
simultaneously.
