(Metal Bearing Components, Autocam Precision Metal Components and Plastic & Rubber Components).
NN owns, also as a result of four recently finalized acquisitions, 25 manufacturing plants divided over 10
countries and counts at this moment more than 4000 employees. Manufacturing facilities exist in North
- and South America, Europe and Asia. More than 40 customers are serviced in 30 countries.
Products of NN are sold globally, primarily to customers in automotive and general industrial end
markets: the main part in North America and Europa and for smaller part in South America and Asia.
NN’s main customers are SKF, Bosch, Fiat, NTN/SNR, ZF and Schaeffler/FA. NN is a publicly-owned
company (NASDAQ: NNBR) headquartered in Johnson City, Tennessee. NN Sales in 2013 was USD 370
million (USD 700 million in 2014).
NN Netherlands B.V. in Veenendaal is part of the Metal Bearing Components Group. Products of this
group are precision balls, cylindrical and tapered rollers, metal and plastic bearing cages and engineered
precision metal components. In Veenendaal Rollers for bearings are produced and also pressed metal
parts. Around 320 people are employed, split over two business units. Customers are suppliers for the
automotive industry (cars’s and trucks). Turnover in 2013 was more than €60 million (USD 78 million).
Recently a production facility in Konjic (Bosnia Herzegovina) has been added. In Konjic 175 people are
employed. The plant produces roller bearing components and stamped metal parts, and services
customers in the automotive industry. Products are shipped worldwide, and main customer is FAG.
Expected 2015 revenue scope is €10 million.
Scope of the position
The Controller, reporting to the General Manager, has financial responsibility for the NN Konjic
operations. The Controller will serve as the finance component of the senior management team,
directing and managing both the unit’s financial functions, in accordance with US and Local generally
accepted accounting principles; and the information technology (IT) function, in accordance with current
US and Local IT regulations and trends. The Controller will partner with the General Manager and the
divisional Management team in the Netherlands, to take tactical and strategic decisions for the business
unit. Emphasis will be placed upon focusing the organization on the operational and strategic financial

issues that drives doubleing the revenue and earnings in the coming years, next to the Company’s Level
3 continuous improvement program (Lean Enterprise, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance).
Essential duties and responsibilities
Lead, direct and improve the business unit’s Accounting and Information Technology (IT) functions
through the following activities:









Manage the financial functions in accordance with US and local generally accepted accounting
principles (GAAP); coordinate local tax activities and prepare local statutory financials;
Oversee the quoting, pricing and customer financial performance measurement for the business
unit; manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, accounts
receivable, inventory integrity, and fixed asset records; and develop and manage a channel costing
system consistent with organizational goals. Has direct responsibility for the Payroll administrator;
Safeguard assets and ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by supporting the
company’s SOX compliance program; in conjunction with the corporate management team. Ensure
that the company maintains high standards associated with internal controls and internal and
external financial reporting;
Lead the search for improvements through the use of financial indicators; provide financial analysis
to evaluate proposed programs, special projects, capital expenditures, and/or product costing; and
manage the preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts;
Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget; oversee accounting and IT budgets;
lead cost management efforts; and improve the budgeting process through education of managers
and supervisors on issues affecting their budget;
Oversee daily IT operations regarding use of financial tools; develop and maintain financial
information systems, both manual and automated, to track customer and channel financial
performance to allow for real-time changes as needed to ensure long-term profitability;
Direct the Accounting team in reporting procedures and responsibilities to ensure timely and
accurate preparation of period-end closings. Manages financial related IT programs, including
evaluation and implementation of new systems in alignment with overall Company strategy. Acts as
a linking pin between Business Unit IT and Corporate IT;
Provide visionary and hands-on leadership associated with the execution of the Company’s Level 3
programs among managers and shop-floor associates in the areas of cost, productivity, quality and
service;
Develop/enhance, implement, and enforce policies, procedures and systems that will improve the
overall operation and effectiveness of the business unit.

Experience and educational requirements
The successful candidate will have 5-10 years progressive finance experience, with five years experience
in a significant managerial role in a manufacturing setting (preferably a publicly-owned, US-based firm).
Further, the ideal candidate will have ERP and SOX experience, experience and in tax/treasury issues and
in local legal entity matters, as well as experience within an international industrial products company.
Manufacturing experience in machining and heat treating of high precision metal components is
preferred. Fluency in Bosnian and English, and familiarity with Local /US accounting regulations, global
markets and European culture are a necessity.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required; a CPA and/or MBA (or equivalent) is a
plus. Local certified accounting knowledge is a strong plus.

reporting tools;

operational focus;
Vision and leadership, necessary to help position the business unit to achieve annual and long-term
sales and profitability growth;
Demonstrated knowledge and the use of Lean Enterprise, Six Sigma and Total Productive
Maintenance tools in an industrial manufacturing environment.
