Pricing Table
The Logicalis IL0-IL2 Cloud Service is a pooled resource cloud service billed on
units of capacity. The resource is provided as capacity in Virtual Data Centre’s for
the customer to allocate into Virtual Machines as they wish. The capacity has
VMware Hypervisor and is licensed for Windows Operating Systems, which means
a customer can create a Windows Server without needing to supply license as this
is covered by the Logicalis UK service provider license agreement with Microsoft.
The resource units are defined below:
Compute Infrastructure Units (IU): The compute resource of CPU and RAM are
ordered in IU. The IU is defined as 0.25GHz of CPU resource and 1GB of RAM.
The CPU capability is equivalent to a single core on an Intel Xeon processor. The
IU’s are available in three different performance levels defined by the amount of the
ordered resource guaranteed regardless of demand and the amount which is
contended for burst use.

The compute resource is pre-licensed for Windows
Storage GigaBytes (GB): The storage resource is ordered in units of GB and is
available in three different performance levels defined by the volume of Input/Output
Per Second (IOPS) each GB can deliver based on a 50%/50% ratio of read and
write instructions.

Internet Bandwidth Gigabits per Second (Gbps): The Internet is supplied as a
fully resilient dual homed Internet service which is ordered in 1Gbps units. The
billing is per unit ordered per month regardless of usage.
Note: Many cloud providers offer Internet in GB of data transfer. Conversion at
1Gbps = 0.125GBps the total data transfer equivalent in a 30 day month is:
324,000GB
The service uses a Reserved Capacity approach; the customer sets a maximum
threshold capacity and a contract term of 12 or 36 months, this limits their maximum
resource and defines a reservation fee. The reservation fee is invoiced every month
regardless of usage level, in addition to the reservation fee there is a usage fee
which has a discounted tariff compared to Pay-as-you-go and the . The usage is
measured with a granularity of either hours or months according to the tariff table
shown below and total usage calculated and invoiced along with the reservation fee

Discounts:
The reserved capacity model has a discounted usage tariff compared to
Pay-as-you-go model
The 36 month term Reserved Capacity model has lower percentage
reservation fee and discounted usage tariff compared to the 12 month term.
No other discounts are offered for volumes or individual sectors such as
Education.
