Journals will be checked randomly throughout the six weeks. If a student is absent for whatever reason they are expected to ask their peers/teacher what needs to be added to their journal for the day that they missed. Labs: Labs are a mandatory part of this class. Lab reports are required on some labs. Major Projects: Research projects may be assigned throughout the year. Each project will include a handout of details, expectations, and grading. Homework: Page 2 of 4 You will have various assignments for extended practice. Tests/ Quizzes: You will have a weekly quiz and exams when done with topic(s).The students will be responsible for taking the initiative of studying for their weekly and six weeks assignments on their own. Semester Exam: The semester exams will be comprehensive to what was taught for the 1st-3rd six weeks for the first semester and 4th – 6th six weeks for the second semester.
