Práctica 1: One person will begin by
saying cero, the next uno, etc. Snake
around the room, each person saying
the next number until you reach 31.
Then keep going until you’ve gone
through the numbers two or three
times.
Try not to look at your notes!
Práctica 2: Write the number in words
that comes next in the sequence.

Práctica 3: Work with the person
next to you. Take turns saying a
number and writing down what your
partner says. You will each say and
write nine different numbers. Listen
and write the numbers that you hear.
Práctica 4: Have your partner tell you the
following information using Spanish numbers.
1. Phone number (you can use a fake one if you
want )
2. Zip Code
3. Number of students in this class
4. Number of siblings s/he has
5. What day of the month his/her birthday is on
Práctica 5: Secret Number Game:
Think of a Spanish number between 0 and 30
and have your partner try to guess it. Use más
(more) or menos (less) to give hints. Try to use as
few guesses as possible!
Práctica 6: Alrededor del mundo (Around the
World):
Begin with one challenger. That person stands
behind someone else who is seated. The person
holding the multiplication flash cards stands so
everyone can see. The first of the two competing
to say the answer in Spanish wins and advances
to the next person. The person who beats
everyone else (or beats the most people) wins the
game.
Práctica 7: ¡Pégalo!
Divide the class into two teams. Project the
game board on the board (not the screen). One
person from each team up at a time with the
flyswatter. Either the teacher or a student will
call out a number in English. The first person to
hit the correct number in Spanish wins a point
for their team. Keep track of the points on the
board.
The next few slides have the game boards.
