It has not happened automatically, naturally or
smoothly.

• When a person fails his responsibility, God, after

and conditions as before and chooses another
person to carry out the same mission.
Thus we see God’s purpose of creation being

4,000 years.

This requires God’s forgiveness of the sin which was
committed when Mankind fell away from Him
And reconnection to God’s true parental love
– Man needs true parents in place of false parents
– Creating a pure new lineage
– Transmitting true love and free from Satan’s dominion

• Hence, the re-establishment of true parents is vital
to God’s providence because these True Parents
come with God’s true parental love.

Thus changing their lineage from Adam and Eve’s fallen
line to the sinless line of the Messiah and his Bride, i.e of
True Parents
This is the meaning of “Rebirth”
Purification of lineage and the engrafting process of
“Rebirth” explained another time

B. The way of restoration is the way of
indemnity
• This is when humankind lays the foundation to
receive true parents.
– Through laying indemnity conditions.
– i.e restoring what was lost at the Fall, through
indemnity, back to its original state.

Three types of indemnity condition:

Indemnity condition of an equal amount:
 Each person is responsible for wrong he/she does to
others
 Exodus 21:23-25
“But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life,
eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.”
Indemnity condition of a greater amount:
 Restore the condition and the failure as well
 Numbers 14:34
“For forty years – one year for each of the forty days you
explored the land – you will suffer for your sins and know
what it is like to have me against you.”

Three types of indemnity condition:

Indemnity condition of a lesser amount:
 We can never pay back what was lost at the fall
 So make conditional offerings to demonstrate sincerity of
our desire to return to god
 Paid by followers who benefit from the offerings of their
central figures who represent god
 E.G. Followers of a prophet benefit from his foundation
by demonstrating their faith in him and living according
to his instructions

• Sin:
– An act or thought which violates heavenly law, creating
the condition through which one forms a reciprocal
base with Satan and enters into a give and take
relationship with him directly or indirectly

Foundation of faith
– First step is to demonstrate faith in god
– Submission of our desires to the will of god
 It’s a process:
 First offering possessions (burnt offerings, crops)
 Leading finally to offering ourselves
– Adam and eve’s faith and obedience were to be upheld
through their entire growth to maturity fulfilling the 3
blessings and establishing the 4 position foundation

Foundation of faith
– It is not enough therefore for us to briefly express attitude
of faith and obedience
– Need to make the foundation of faith using certain periods,
which appear in many sacred texts
 In bible and Koran the numbers 4,12, 21 and 40 are
common:
 Noah’s faith vindicated by 40 days rain
 Jacob 21 years in his uncle Laban’s house
 Moses built faith among the Israelites with 12 tribal
leaders
 Mohammed (PBUH) began his public mission at the age
of 40
 Completed a victorious 21 year course before his death

Foundation of substance

Once F/F established, God can work with us by creating
circumstances that lead us to purify ourselves
 Original nature must become subject over evil fallen nature.
 Thus the love of humankind is raised up.
 This restoration of our love can be seen in the standard of
man-woman relationships:
 Before the ten commandments, there was no standard.
 The ten commandments included a prohibition against
adultery.
 Jesus, on a greater foundation than Moses, said that to
lust itself was an act of adultery.
 Celibacy is a condition of purification for this purpose.
 The F/S provides a structure for us to overcome selfcentredness, disobedience, resentment, arrogance and
unrighteous lust for power.

• The first man qualified to achieve the restoration of Adam’s

position totally, would become a second, or true Adam, or
messiah.
Once a true Adam is restored, a second, or true, Eve can
be restored.
This restored Adam and Eve would be true parents

And through them all people would be able to become true
parents.
