All the information you need is in the copy of Chapter Three that you have been given.

Introduction and thesis statement: 40 points (Thesis statement must have 3 topics
identified for discussion in the supporting paragraphs.)
Supporting paragraphs: 40 points (Supporting paragraphs must match up to the thesis
statement.)
Closing: 20 points: 20 points (Must make reference back to the thesis statement.)
If you do not have access to a computer, come to my class before next Tuesday and you can use one
of the two computers I will have available. If there are more than 2 of you here, you will have to wait.
Test:
Oct. 22 and 23: The district requires that I give a common assessment to all US History students on
material covered in the regular curriculum. We do not cover that in Dual Credit until next semester.
The district never understands that. On Monday, Oct. 19 I will let students take pictures of the study
cards for this test. I would like for them to do their best, but I am not going to let it harm their grade.
Oct. 29 and 30: Students will have a test on Chapters 4,5,6.
I have received word that the APUSH textbooks are in the high school. I hope to have them issued on
Monday, Oct. 19
