Greek Monsters By Haley S & Bella O Polyphemus Polyphemus is a cyclops. Odysseus stabbed his one eye. Polyphemus eats some of Odysseus's men when they crash A cyclops One cyclops in particular was famous in the Oddesy. Cyclops are mostly known for their one eye. A hydra! Every time a head is chopped off 3 more grow back. Pegasus!!!!!!! Pegisi are Winged horses. This stallion is the son of Poseidon and Medusa. Cerberus! Cerberus was a tiny puppy When he was found. Then he grew up ,had three heads and spits fire. He guards The underworld. Centaurs! • The Centaurs were half-man, half-horse creatures. Their upper half was human, while their lower half had four legs like a horse. Charybdis sucks in the water and spits it out. He almost killed Odessus and his men and has a sister named Scylla. Scylla: a family relation with Charybdis • Scylla was a terrible sea monster with 12 tentacle legs an 6 dog-like heads. Scylla Is Carybdis's sister. Chimera! Part lion part goat and part snake are most seen it is also many other animals. The Chimera Griffin • The gru Griffin is a legendary creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. Minotaur The Minotaur had the head of a bull and a body of a hairy Man. Furies The Furies were flying creatures with sharp fangs. They haunted down murderes They hunted down murderers. Harpies Harpies were flying creatures with the faces of a women. Harpies were famous for stealing food from people. Hecatonchires The Hecatonchires has 100 hands! They They have 50 heads. Typhon!!!!! Typhon was perhaps the scariest and most powerful of all the monsters in Greek mythology... He is THE FATHER OF ALL MONSTERS!!!!!!!!!!! This picture depicts Zeus hurling a lightning bolt at Typhon.
