In this 750 word paper, you need to inform the reader about a particular area of your topic.
Your paper needs to be completed in MLA format. This includes margins, header, heading, page
numbers and works cited. 10 points
Your paper needs to include information. While that might appear obvious, these are some of the
informative components we discussed in class: facts, stats, history, definitions, examples,
supporting details, etc. Use your own words. Do not plagiarize. 20 points
Your paper needs to be free from conventional errors. Your paper needs to be in third person
You use proper punctuation. Be very careful of run-on sentences! Use grammar correctly,
capitalize, and spell correctly. 10 points
Your paper needs to cite a minimum of two sources. The quality of sources needs to be credible.
Be sure to cite the sources correctly in your works cited page and use parenthetical
documentation whenever you quote, summarize or paraphrase ideas you found in those sources.
