I. Grammaire
A. 8 pts. – Chose from a bank of Infinitives and write the correct form in the blank.

B. 6 pts.- Conjugate the verbs in parenthesis in the sentence.
TO DO: Conjugate several ir, er, ger, verbs
C. 6 pts.- Write in the appropriate possessive adjective.
TO DO: G and A ex 6 on pg. 6.
D. 6 pts.- Write in the appropriate possessive adjective.
TO DO: G and A ex 6 on pg. 6.
E. 9 pts.- Complete the sentence with the appropriate form of aller, être, faire, or avoir.
To DO: Conjugate 10 xs each aller, être, faire, or avoir.
F. 4 pts. – Write the dates in French
EX: 1. 31/2 C’est le 31 février.
TO DO: Make a WS of dates and write them out. Write 5xs each the months of the year.
G. 12 pts. – (1 point for FP and 1 pt. for spelling out the time) Write the sentences telling what
everyone is doing at the indicated time.
EX: Vous/ écouter la radio/ à 3h30. Vous allez écouter de la radio à trois heures et demie.
TO DO: Practice writing out time expressions (make a WS). Write numbers 1-59 5xs each.
Write out the rules for forming the Future Proche.
H. 6pts.- write the appropriate forms of à and the def. art. and de and the def. art.

TO DO: make a list of places in French and make sure that you include the gender!!!!
I. 10pts.- Rewrite the sentences using the indicated adjective. (1pt. for spelling- agreement, one for
placement)

TO DO : Make a list of adjectives with mas. and fem. spelling. Put a B or P next to preceding
BAGS adjectives.
J. 6 pts.- Rewrite the following statement as a yes, no question in 3 different ways.
EX: Tu as un chien.
Tu as un chien, n’est-ce pas ?
Est-ce que tu as un chien ?
As-tu un chien ?
TO DO : Make a list of a few statements and make them into questions following the three
formulas.
K. 8 pts- Answer the questions using the correct negative expressions.
EX: Est-ce que il pleut toujours ici? Non, il ne pleut plus ici.
TO DO: pg. 23 ex 25 in review packet.
L. 4 pts. – Answer the following questions in the negative.
EX: Tu as des frères? Non, je n’ai pas de frères.
TO DO : write the grammar rule out on a piece of paper about what happens to indefinite
articles after the negative expressions! Review packet pg. 24 ex 26.
II. Listening Comprehension:
10 pts. - Listen to the dialog twice and select the best reply in French.
EX: You hear : -As-tu des frères?
-Oui, j’ai deux frères. Et toi ?
A. Non, je n’ai pas de frères.
B. Oui, j’ai deux chats.
C. Non, ma mère est fille unique.
TO DO : Additional Listening Comprehension exercises in class on Thursday.
III. Reading Comprehension: 2 excerpts from a tour guide describing 2 museums in Quebec.
A. 5 pts. - Comprehension questions in English
B. 10 points- higher-order thinking questions in English
TO Do: Reading sections in textbook and workbook. pg. 42 ex. 12
IV. Culture:
15points. multiple choice questions in English on the Culture sections in the chapter.
EX: Culture WS done in class
TO DO: Re-read orange and green sections in the chapter and make vocab. notes.
V. Oral Exam:
12 points- 6 points each verb. For the teacher, student will orally conjugate a regular verb and
irregular verb. They will NOT know which ones until they are in front of the teacher.
TO DO: Conjugate verbs from verb packet with a partner (to help verify pronunciation)
Conjugate Aller, Faire, être, and avoir orally 10 xs each until memorized.
