Students should use: User Name: student number Password: student number for first time log in or the password they created for school computer Students were also asked to create usatestprep and Quizlet accounts Expectations Students come to class prepared with materials and on time (notebooks, pens, pencils). Students write down HW in their agenda book complete assignments. Assignments are usually given 2-3 times a week with time in between for students to ask questions When students are absent have them check the website and see me in the morning before classes begin when they return so I can give them missed information, and sign them up for a tutoring session some time that week Interactive Notebook All students are keeping an interactive notebook for notes and process learning Right side teacher input (notes, thought questions, brainstorm Left Side output- where students process their learning (pictures, concept maps, summaries, etc.) Notebooks should be left in the classroom, but can be taken home to complete assignments or study for tests CP-Biology Credit Recovery After a unit test, ALL students will redo all missed questions in Q&A format with explanations in order to master content not understood and acquire points. Students that scored below 75 on the original unit test will have an opportunity to retake the exam. If student score higher on the retake, the original grade is replaced. If the student does not score higher on the re-take credit recovery question points will be added to the exam.
