OUR MISSION
PSKS is a progressive organization dedicated to the advancement of homeless and street-involved youth and
young adults to empower themselves and lead positive and self-sufficient lives. We strive to do this by
creating an inclusive, non-discriminatory, knowledge-rich environment, by providing services from GED, Case
Management, Internships, community center hours to provide for basic needs and an overnight shelter.
POSITION SUMMARY - Open until filled
The Office Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and will be responsible
for bookkeeping, payroll, human resource management, coordinating facilities maintenance and managing
other projects as assigned. The Office Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, Development
Manager, staff, and interns to provide administrative support.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
 General Office Management
General clerical and administrative duties to assist the Executive Director and Development Manager.
Design and implement filing systems
Ensure filling systems are maintained and current
Design and implement office policies and procedures
Maintain inventory and order office and HYPE Center supplies
Maintain and upkeep office equipment such as printers, fax, and phones
Organize repairs and upgrades to facilities
Follow through on maintenance agreements and contracts
Research venders as needed
Troubleshoot computer and systems problems
 Accounting and Financial
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Budget Development.
Maintain and track budget expenses and assist programs in writing their budget
Maintain bookkeeping system through weekly and monthly reports
Manage petty cash
 Data Management
Enter monetary and in-kind donations into Salesforce.
Enter donor and volunteer contact information into Salesforce.
Create and maintain excel spreadsheets for Metro Bus Tickets and various requirements and
demographics we need to track for programs.
 Human Resource
File time sheets and monitor vacation and sick leave
Administer benefits and handle insurance questions
Maintain employee personal files
Prepare new hire paper work
Submit background checks
Create and run cultural competency awareness for staff, interns and volunteers
Resolve employee disputes and conflict
 Staff Management
Create and update job descriptions
Recruit and select new candidates
Motivate, mentor, coach and provide feedback to staff
PREFERED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
 Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

Or high school diploma or equivalent with at least 3-5 years administrative experience

Knowledge of accounting, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and budgets

Knowledge of human resources management procedure and insurance contracts

Computers skills with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Gmail Amin, Salesforce or equivalent database,
Facebook, Word Press and MailChimp.

Experience creating and maintaining both electronic and hard file system

Compensation
30 hour/week, salary based on qualifications and experience.
