Changes she made:
She worked more than 50
years to make the right for
women to vote.
She served as an agent for the
American anti-slavery society.
Sacrifices she made:
was arrested and found guilty,
had to pay $100 fine.
How this changed North
Carolina:
A lot more people can vote,

are running for president.
• She was good at giving
Speeches and writing.
•She went to Troy
Female Seminary.
•She was married.
•Woman can now vote.
Mrs. Stanton wanted to
change women’s rights.
She wanted men and
woman to be equal.
Because of her actions
woman can now vote.
1815-1902
I am thankful that Elizabeth Cady Stanton paved the way for
women.

black people were slaves. When she was little

people said women should not
be pilots.
She inspired other women to
follow their dreams.
She was the first woman to cross
the Atlantic Ocean by plane.
In 1934 she flew across the
Pacific Ocean.
In 1937 she attempted to fly
around the world, but she ran out
of fuel and crashed. She was
never found.
This relates to me because when
someone said I couldn’t beat
them at arm wrestling, I did beat
them.
