Job Title: Licensed Therapist-Bilingual English/Spanish
Department: Clinical
Classification: Full-Time – Exempt
About the Organization:
Led by founder and CEO, Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, the Center for Youth Wellness (CYW) is part of a national effort to revolutionize
pediatric medicine and transform the way society responds to children exposed to significant Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and
Toxic Stress. CYW has a three-pronged strategic approach to addressing an emerging public health crisis: clinical innovation; research;
and movement building. While CYW’s direct service work is housed within a pediatric clinic that serves children and families in the
Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco, its work highlights the way in which pediatricians, policymakers and society in
general recognize, treat, and respond to youth who may be at risk or are experiencing Toxic Stress. CYW aims to bring about better health
outcomes throughout the life course. We're poised to continue growing our model of clinical, research and movement building in
relentless pursuit of our goal to improve the health of children and adolescents exposed to Adverse Childhood Experiences.
