Objectives: Students will be introduced to the novel by discussing the stereotypes of Native Americans; address how internal/external
expectations shape our lives.

others’ ideas and expressing their own clearly and persuasively; SL-7-3 Evaluate a speaker’s point of view, reasoning and use of

research.

Objectives: Watch 30 Days on an Indian Reservation; make notes on yesterday’s anticipation guide; create a chart that shows what is
similar and different from Arnold’s reservations from the video.
