Unlocking MyMU

MyMU will become locked if a user tries logging in unsuccessfully three or more times. MyMU will show the user a
message that states they have been Locked out for Security Purposes
*Before unlocking a MyMU account be sure to verify the identity of the user*
This can be done with a valid picture ID or verifying the last 4 digits of the user’s
social security number.
1. Go to www.mymu.marshall.edu
2. Log in with your own 901# and PIN
3. At the top right of the screen click on the Admin icon
4. Click on User Admin to expand
5. Click on Manage
6. Enter the user’s 901#
7. Click Search
8. Check to make sure the display name matches the
person’s name that you are helping

9. Click on the Login Name 901#
10. Click Edit
11. Click Enable
12. Click Save Changes
