Overview
The Pharmaceutical
National Emergency
Grant now offers an On-the-Job
(OJT) training component.
Training new employees can be expensive. But now, employers can get help with
the cost of hiring and training new hires. When you participate in our On-theJob Training (OJT) program, you can offset the cost of training and may receive
reimbursements of 50%–90% of your new hire’s salary for up to six months (or up
to $14,000).
OJT has a proven track record of helping unemployed workers gain new skills to
find and retain employment. The program not only helps people learn skills and
establish themselves in new fields, it give employers an incentive to hire new workers
and invest in their skill development.
YOU interview. YOU make the hiring decisions.
OJT is available to eligible private companies and nonprofit organizations. OJT is
subject to available funding.
Thinking about hiring? Let us help you make it affordable.
